INVITATION: STAKEHOLDER INFORMATION SESSIONS – DRAFT STANDARDS AND
REGULATIONS

The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) invites all producers and traders of
agronomic and horticultural products and all relevant stakeholders to consultative
information sessions on the newly drafted crop-specific marketing and quality
control standards for berry fruits, citrus, watermelons and lettuce, as well as regulations
relating to the control of imports, exports, in-transit and local production of controlled
agronomic and horticultural products.

The information session dates are as follows;

Session 1 (North Central Production Zone)
Town: Outapi, Omusati Region
Date: 24 – 25 January 2022
Venue: Outapi Town Lodge
Time: 09h00 –16h00

Session 2 (Central, Karst, Kavango and Zambezi Production Zones)
Town: Tsumeb, Oshikoto Region
Date: 27 – 28 January 2022
Venue: Minen Hotel
Time: 09h00 –16h00

Session 3 (Central, South and Orange River Production Zones)
Town: Mariental, Hardap Region
Date: 3 – 4 February 2022
