The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) is governed by the Agronomic Industry Act, Act No. 20 of 1992 and is mandated to promote the agronomic industry and to facilitate the production, processing, storage, and marketing of controlled products in Namibia. The Top Management of the Namibian Agronomic Board is committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of a Health and Safety Management System, meeting the requirements outlined by the ISO 45001:2018 Requirements. This will be done by the identification of Risks and Opportunities to prevent work-related injury and ill-health to workers and stakeholders. This is also to provide a safe and healthy workplace and to eliminate negative environmental impacts. The Occupational Health and Safety Management System facilitates continuous improvement and ensures that the Legal requirements are fulfilled.
