Environmental Policy Statement

The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) is governed by the Agronomic Industry Act, Act No. 20 of 1992 and is mandated to promote the agronomic industry and to facilitate the production, processing, storage, and marketing of controlled products in Namibia.

The Top Management of the Namibian Agronomic Board is committed to the implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of an Environmental Management System (EMS), meeting the requirements outlined by the ISO 14001 :2015 standard. This will be achieved by the identification of risks and opportunities to environmental protection, and potential emergency situations including those that can have an environmental impact. Furthermore, the EMS facilitates continuous improvement and ensures that legal requirements are fulfilled.
